We hold weekend clinics at North Weald Flight Training, in the main reception building. NWFT offer training for LAPL, PPL and beyond, with a large fleet of aircraft and excellent airfield facilities.
NWFT are located at Apron 2 of the airfield - please see the airfield chart for further info. If visiting by air please see the information for pilots.
Please note that on Saturdays or bank holiday Mondays the North Weald Market is held and the airfield entrance can become very busy. It is advisable on these days to use Gate I to access the airfield (details below).
Directions
If coming on a non-market day, access to the airfield is via gate B1; from the M11, or from Chelmsford, follow the road signs for the airfield. Please advise the gate staff that you are attending North Weald Flight Training. Follow the road around the runway 02 threshold and parking and the NWFT building are on the right (with a large signpost on the left).
On market days (Saturdays and bank holiday Mondays) it is advisable to use Gate I - this is accessed via North Weald village - look out for the Airfield Museum signs and follow the road around to find Gate I clearly signposted.
