If you are an existing class 1 medical holder which has not lapsed for more than 5 years, then we can provide a renewal or revalidation to your medical.

To preserve the expiry date of your medical we can see you up to 45 days prior to the expiry date and revalidate. 

Each class 1 revalidation involves the following:

• Check of photo ID (passport or UK driving licence)
• Review of the application entered on Cellma and a check of the medical history
• Review of a mental health checklist
• Physical examination including height and weight, blood pressure, pulse, heart and chest, nerves in the face and limbs, movement of the arms, legs and spine.
• A vision check
• A hearing check - with a formal audiogram periodically
• Haemoglobin finger prick blood test - with cholesterol blood test periodically
• A urine test - checking for blood, sugar and protein
